The Social Work Working Group (SWWG) is a volunteer group which develops the social work educational track at NBDF’s Bleeding Disorders Conference and supports NBDF’s psychosocial educational sessions at its conferences. The 12-member group works to identify unmet needs of patients, family members, and professionals in the bleeding disorders community and promotes projects which address those needs. They advocate for the concerns of social workers in the bleeding disorders community and encourage opportunities for research and publication.
