NBDF is excited to announce that its Facts About Inhibitors booklet is now available in an Arabic language version. Using easy-to-understand language, this publication includes important information about how inhibitors develop in people with hemophilia, key risk factors, and tips on getting screened.
Access a downloadable PDF of حقائق عن المثبطات - العربية (Fact About Inhibitors) here. Please note that this publication is only available in this digital format.
The need for clear and easily accessible online information in Arabic is acute, including reliable content relevant to health care, bleeding disorders, and other chronic conditions. According to the United Nations, Arabic is spoken by more than 450 million people globally and holds official status in nearly 25 countries. However, only 3% of online content is available in Arabic, restricting access for millions. For more Arabic language information on bleeding disorders, go to the World Federation of Hemophilia’s eLearning platform in Arabic.
We are also delighted to share that Facts About Inhibitors is now available in a simplified Chinese version (有关抑制因子的事实 — 简体中文), which can be downloaded in PDF here.
For more on inhibitors be sure to visit NBDF’s Inhibitor Education page, which includes information on screening, inhibitor prevention and treatment, social/financial considerations, and research.
We also encourage you to visit the Neil Frick Resource Center, which provides valuable information and support for individuals with inheritable bleeding disorders, their families, and health care professionals. Find resources, connect with the community, and access vital information about treatment centers, support groups, and more.
