For the past four years, Marble Slab Creamery locations in the metro Charlotte region have partnered with NBDF to fundraise for inheritable blood disorders. Every summer, locations rally around Marble Slab Creamery franchisee, Ryan Griffith, his son Kai, and the patient community to raise awareness about the complications of living with a blood disorder. With just a handful of stores, they have raised nearly $60,000. Because of generous ice cream lovers, Kai is thriving, benefiting from improved treatments, and one day may witness a cure for blood disorders.
How you can help join the fight!
Beginning August 1st, through September 15th, franchisees can participate in a ‘Donate a Dollar’ point of sale campaign. Each franchisee will receive a kit with the following:
- Welcome letter from Ryan Griffith
- Staff Script
- Counter Sign with Donation Meter
- Window Cling
- Fundraising 101 tips, including how to connect with one of NBDF’s 52 local Chapters
And top performing stores will receive free custom Converse or Nike sneakers!
