About Jonathan Angarola: 

Jonathan Angarola is the Senior Manager of Medical Programs and Information at the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation. He serves in a variety of key communications and editorial roles and oversees NBDF’s Resource Center HANDI. Jonathan graduated from Manhattan College with a bachelor’s degree in English. When not at work Jonathan is an avid film buff who can be found at his favorite theaters like the Museum of the Moving Image or the Alamo Drafthouse. He is also eager to return to hiking trips out west, one of his favorite pre-pandemic activities. Jonathan lives in New York with his wife and daughter, who is celebrating her last day of kindergarten today!

About Anna Laurent:

Anna Laurent is the Medical Programs and Information Coordinator at the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation. Anna fulfills requests that come through HANDI and develops practical referral resources for the community. After earning her bachelor’s degree in social work from Murray State University, she went on to be a lead prevention educator at a regional sexual violence resource and children’s advocacy center. She then moved on to be the social worker at a Head Start/Preschool. Anna is not only passionate about her work, but also about her family. She is a proud and self-proclaimed obnoxious aunt and older sister spending much of her free time cheering at sporting events, concerts, and more. If she’s not with her family, then she is outdoors hiking or at her favorite local brewery.
