Learn About Anti-TFPI Treatment
A new treatment option for people who have hemophilia A or B with or without inhibitors is called Anti-TFPI. In this 3D video we will show how Anti-TFPI treatment works in the clotting cascade. Anti-TFPI is part of a new type of treatment called rebalancing agents. During the process of stopping a bleed there are proteins that put the brakes on clotting. However, these proteins aren’t helpful for someone who has a bleeding disorder. Anti-TFPI can block one of these proteins called TFPI so that the clotting cascade can continue, and bleeding can stop.
