Carrera Christman

Carrera Christman is from Phoenix, Arizona, and currently serves as the Advocacy & Community Engagement Manager at Arizona Bleeding Disorders (AZBD). She is also a member of NYLI. Although she was diagnosed with a bleeding disorder at the age of 10, Carrera found her way into the bleeding disorders community through her career, where she has been able to combine her lived experience with her passion for advocacy, storytelling, and community engagement. At AZBD, she leads advocacy initiatives and programs that empower individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders while fostering meaningful connections throughout the community. Looking ahead, Carrera hopes to continue expanding her advocacy efforts and creating opportunities that inspire others to find their voice and share their stories. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her mini zoo of four cats and one dog.
